Welcome! I am a thirty-something St Louisan who loves the social, communal nature of eating out in the local restaurants. My blog is restaurant reviews of non-chain St Louis (and surrounding area) restaurants. I have no culinary expertise, except for making a mean bowl of cereal. Nor do I have any restaurant experience.....well....maybe that 2 week stint as a hostess in a spaghetti restaurant in Des Moines might suffice. However, I do know good food when I taste it, and great service when I get it. So, with my culinary ignorance and my palate for anything tasty, I'm going to backseat dine in St Louis!

- I have a 3 year old--are the restaurants accomodating to a child/family?
- A wise man once said, "a restaurant's kitchen is as clean as its restrooms". Whether or not this is true, I'll be checking those out, too. Even if you don't believe in the decade....well....1/2 decade old proverb, if you're like me, a nice, clean bathroom is an added bonus.
